Decision-making in lack of resources in the health care system during mass casualties and disasters

Decision-making in lack of resources in the health care system during mass casualties and disasters The thesis discusses the ethics of decicion-making in the situation of the lack of material and personnel resources during managing mass casualties and disasters. The overview of basics of disaster medicine, prinicples of crisis preparedness and management of mass casualties are presented in the introduction. Basic terms are explained here: types of mass casualties, phases of reaction, immediate response services, and special attention is dedicated to explanation of medical triage during normal and extreme circumstances. The second part of the thesis deals with ethical theories related to disaster medicine. Deontology, consequentialism, utilitarism, ethics of biomedical principles, virtue ethics, justice and the concept of human rights, communitarism and care ethics are analysed. COVID-19 pandemic was chosen as a reference event. It is presented as a case report focusing on decision-making concerning allocation of scarce resources in the health care system. Guidelines for ethical decision-making during the critical phases of pandemic that were created in the years 2020-2021 are analysed. Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vytvoření marketingového mixu služby v začínající firmě. Pokládá teoretické základy pro analýzu problému, která následně představuje společnost a snaží se popsat její místo na trhu, cílovou skupinu a komplexně analyzovat situaci pro navazující část, ve které navrhuji samotný marketingový mix s pomocí metody 4P. Cílem této práce je vytvořit takový marketingový mix, který povede k celkové prosperitě služby a tím i prosperitě celé společnosti.

The third part includes the marketing plan for the launch of the product and its sales support activities.
Design of Bed for Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Hospital Department

The thesis focuses on analysis and design of a special hospital bed designed for the department of anesthesiology and resuscitation. The design was based on the rules set by the ČSN EN 60601-2-52 norm. The bed is adjusted for the use at the department of anesthesiology and resuscitation not only with its look but also with its functions. The design emphasizes the ergonomics of the bed, safety and the needs of the patient as well as of the staff and also an easy maintenance of the bed. Some of the main innovative elements are: basal stimulation system placed directly in the bed, used colors, more infusion-rack holders or a headboard fixed to the construction of the bed if not needed. The bed was designed especially to provide more comfort to the patient.
The Implementation of Information Security in Healthcare Organization

This Master‘s thesis is based on knowledge of information security and its management. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part provides the theoretical background, definitions and terminology according to the information security management and it is based on concepts from standard ISO 27000 series. The second part aims to analysis of a selected company. Following to this analysis proposal of implementation of information security management system and security guide is drawn up. This guide contains recommendations for ICT security management and advices in field of personal and physical security in company.
Marketing Strategy of a Private Eye Surgery

The aim of this Master’s thesis is to create marketing plan for private eye office. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theretical and practical. The first part summarizes theoretical knowledge about marketing of services and specifics in healt care marketing. It was created marketing mix 4P and 4C of health care. Practical part begins of introducing of private eye office. Next step is to analyze environment of eye office using following methods: McKinsey 7S, Porter's five forces and SLEPT analysis. Conclusions of these analyses are summarized in SWOT analysis. Afterwards each question of questionnaire survey – focused on client´s comfort and ways how to improve it, is analyzed. Results and ideas come from survey how to improve our clients comfort during the examination are summarized in the proposed solutions and discussion.

This text’s goal is to point out how much potential there is in further research of the material allowing for qualities as varied as biodegradable pill coating and high resistant dental implant.
